Dan, the lead singer of Bastille, falls in love with Hannah, a widowed mother of two children. Just as life couldn't be any better for him, fate intervenes and he is forced to raise the children alone and heartbroken. But it's not just the children that have to grow and learn. Some readers may find this story upsetting.

Throughout the story Tyler's memory gets progressively worse but the love the two share grows stronger.
