"I shall never tell," the Queen replied. Without another word the man thrust the dagger into her and Adrastea let out an involuntary scream, quickly covering her mouth. But it was too late. The Human snapped his head around and looked at the door. His face was square and dirty, with a scruffy blond beard and a long scar across his forehead, nose, and cheek. Adrastea stared with wide eyes at the horrid thing, still covering her mouth. The man leaped for the door and the Princess jumped back as it swung open, running as fast as her legs would carry her back down the hall. "GUARDS!" she screamed hoarsely, dashing up the stairs. She could hear the man's footsteps right behind her but did not dare look back. "GUARDS!" Adrastea yelled again. Reaching the top of the stairs the young Princess halted, looking down the empty hall. The guards were gone.

"I REFUSE TO BE PART IN A WAR MY OWN KING STARTED!" Adrastea shouted, loosing her temper once more and throwing her chair across the room. "We don't want a war," Adrianna told her quietly, trying to keep her composure. Adrastea rolled her eyes and peered at Adrianna, burrowing down into the very pit of her soul. "You already have one." "Please, if you two would just get along, we might be able to solve this," Chandra tried to reason. Dagon looked at Diomedes with a confused expression, than turned his attention to Adrastea. "If your own king started this war, as you say, then why are you not part of it?" he asked reasonably. Adrastea snapped her head in his direction with that same cold gaze, but he remained completely calm. "He may be my king, but it makes my stomach lurch to have to admit it," Adrastea told Dagon in a low voice. "Everyone! Calm down! I know it's a mismatched group, but you're the best we've got," Cephalus interrupted, seeing where this was heading. Marcy swallowed hard and walked slowly behind Weland. This was not what she had signed up for. "Huh, yeah," Diomedes mumbled. "If they don't kill each other first." <<>>Updated every Monday<<>>

Davie didn't get there until after everyone was in the room, but he couldn't see properly through the crowd. He tried pushing his way through, and when he did, he saw the Countess bent over the body of Alice. "What's wrong?" He asked. "It's Alice," Kathleen replied, looking up at him with a solemn expression. "She's been killed." <<>>Updated every Friday<<>>

I ran toward the man, grabbing his neck with my right arm and using it as a lift to jump over his shoulder then flip him over mine. The two other men came at me at the same time so I used their weapons against them. As one of them thrust his sword at me I blocked and grabbed his wrist, pushing it upward to use his sword as a block for the other one. There was a stinging sound as steal clashed against steal and I used a forward kick to send one of the men sprawling on the ground. Unfortunately the last man was a bit more skillful then the others and when I tried to kick him in the ribs he grabbed my leg and pulled it forward. Thankfully I could do the splits and I immediately pulled my left leg forward and swept it in an arch behind the man's left leg causing him to fall to the ground. I stood up, satisfied at my work, but with my luck I should've known something would go wrong. And it did. As soon as I turned around to run I was greeted by the white haired man, pointing a bow at me from 3 yards away. "The games up missy. Turn around and put your hands in the air, NOW!" Reluctantly I turned around and raised my hands, glaring at the other men who were now standing. Why does this always happen to me? - Updated every Wednesday -
