To Become a Weapon

Black. That's all she saw. An endless void of nothing. She was drowning in it. And then she felt it. The tight metal cuffs around her wrists and ankles, restricting her to the chair. Her breath hitched as the light broke through the darkness, until she was able to make out her surroundings.
