Siege - Book III of The Harvest Wars Series. Mighty Covenport, jewel of the Boiling Sea, has fallen to the walking dead. Yet in the Scarred Empire, that most powerful and ancient of the human realms, the plague of the undead is a common threat, as ordinary as the storms that ravage sea and land. Mighty armies gather, joined in their desire to liberate the city - and plunder as much of its spoils as possible. Yet what at best should have been a minor adventure in the Empire's long history of its war against the undying might very well be its ultimate downfall. For the dead that plague the city are no mindless vermin - they are united, controlled by beings that once were the Empire's greatest heroes: the Thirteen. While the armies of these Deathlords rise to do battle with their mortal enemies, it once more falls to the Scarlands most infamous band of mercenaries to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Will the Skulltakers cheat death once more or will they join its ranks?

They were never meant to survive. The Kingdom of Freesia was theirs by birthright. Instead, it belongs to the Order-a brutal regime that has spent years hunting down the last remnants of the royal bloodline, branding magic users like cattle, and silencing anyone who dares to resist. For years, the Order has ruled uncontested. But they made one mistake. They left four of them alive. Scattered at birth. Raised in the shadows. Unaware of the power written into their blood. Each sister was gifted an element by the universe itself-Fire, Water, Earth, and Air-born to restore balance to a world on the brink of ruin. But as their magic awakens, so does the Order's determination to erase them for good. Hunted. Betrayed. Forced into a war they never asked for. To reclaim their kingdom, they must reunite before the Order finds them-but war is not won on magic alone. Secrets have been buried, alliances will shatter, and the truth waiting for them is far deadlier than the lies they've been told. Magic is in their blood. But so is war. Updates Monday and Friday.

Welcome to the twin worlds of Ramnor and Rimnor: lush, beautiful, and magical. They are also the center of the Maker's universe, the cornerstone on which all of Creation is built. If one, or both are destroyed, then Creation itself will begin to unravel. And destruction of those worlds is the goal of the Lords of the Abyss, masters of the shadows that haunt the edges of Reality. To that end, they long ago gathered a vast army of demonspawn and made their war on Reality, defeated at the last possible moment by an alliance of mortal races and by the hand of the Creator themselves. Despite their defeat, the Lords have not given up trying to destroy all of Reality. And now, tens of thousands of years after their initial defeat, they once again threaten to destroy everything that ever was. Except this time even fewer will stand against them. And they themselves don't even know who they are, and what they are fated to do. Can this meager handful discover their destiny before it's too late and all of Reality dies in demon fire? Join heroes from the Humans, the Elves, the centaur-like Quada, the cat-like Muraan, and the fish-like Picea as they learn of their fates and struggle against the vanguard of evil that threatens to wash them away in the first book of the Sons of Ironstorm Chronicles, 'Griffon's Rise'. I hope you enjoy.

Highest ranking in Fantasy 28. Vincent was a traveller. He had visited most of the important cities and towns in the entire Empire. He had encountered men of greatness, men of cowardice and experience had taught him well how to differentiate among them, for the latter usually chose to wear the mask of the former. He had witnessed the alchemists, the mages, the dark magicians, the masters, the mind readers, the knights. He had been fortunate enough to appreciate the play of the gladiators from the pits and the lances in tourneys. Vincent had watched men fly, tame wildest creatures, walk on water. In fact, he was of the opinion, which most would agree was well founded, that he had seen enough for a single lifetime. But what Vincent the blacksmith saw next, created a memory so deep, that others seemed to fade. An unbelievable incident occurred in the little town of Andlenore. But the consequences of that incident, were not limited to the town. The ripples spread like wildfire.
