Telula's been an orphan for as long as she can remember. Her mother... Well you'll have to read to find out.. Anyways, her dad had been in the army, but died after a long war against Keblin United, a secret force hiding amongst the world. Unfortunately, the army had lost and surrendered at short notice. Now, Telula has to live in a beaten up orphanage with 13 other kids with small portions of food. With her beaten up hope, she leaves the orphanage at 16 and sets out for an adventure. But little did she know that she was the key to the saving the world from the K.U.

Born and raised in a non-magical household, she must learn to identify the ways of how magical folk live, how they cope with things, when she gets a letter to the most prestigious academy of magic. Soon, a terror will sweep the land and the only thing that differentiates Telula from other witches and wizards is her astounding bravery.

Kehidupan Airin yang biasa-biasa aja, normal, lurus kayak kali deres, mendadak berguncang seratus delapan puluh derajat setelah kepulangan kedua orangtuanya dari Yogyakarta. Kepulangan yang semula ditunggu dengan segudang rindu, mendadak amblas tak berbekas. Kabar yang dibawa Ibu dan Bapak meluluh-lantakkan kehidupan Airin dalam sepersekian detik, mengubahnya seperti serial drama yang sering ditontonnya di tivi. Di jaman modern yang serba berteknologi ini, tradisi kuno setipe 'perjodohan' ternyata masih ampuh memantrai elitenya kehidupan dan mendoktrin bahwa pernikahan berlandaskan perjodohan adalah jalan paling bagus menjauhi perceraian. "Anak muda jaman sekarang itu ndak becus cari pasangan, yang ada malah kawin-cerai kayak selebriti. Pernikahan karena perjodohan lebih awet, bisa sampe kakek-nenek. Ibu sama Bapakmu juga nikah karena perjodohan." Dan seolah belum cukup, Airin menemukan calon suaminya adalah sosok yang paling ia hindari di kampus. Sosok lebih dari menyebalkan yang nggak lain adalah dosen pembimbing akademiknya sendiri, dosen pelit nilai yang kalemnya keterlaluan. Dan parahnya, dosen itu juga adalah dosen pembimbing skripsinya!
