This is the sequel to Love and War. If you read all of Love and War, you know that Clove died. You must be wondering "How is there a sequel when Clove died?" Well, it's starting back at the beginning, back in District 2, only it's Cato's point of veiw instead of Clove's. Be sure to read Love and War before this because this will fill in gaps in Love and War. The Hunger Games. A game where twenty-four kids get put into an arena to fight to the death. I wouldn't have been in this years games if the girl of my life hadn't been reaped. When Clove was reaped, my heart broke in pieces. Now, I'm struggling to put them together while we g through the journey of going to the Capitol and entering the games as Careers. Will our love survive the games or will it come tumbling down with the rest of us?

Capitol High was anything but normal. You had your jocks, your nerds, and the typical peer pressure in life to work around. For Cato Zane Marshall and Clove Denise Kingston they were the typical friends who grew up together at a young age and always stood by the other. From a drunk father to one who had serious medical issues. But because of that they could always count on the other to be there for the other. That is until their Senior year in High school when a new girl arrived named Sharlane "Glimmer" Hills who fell head over hills for Cato.
