Joey Graceffa age 17's dad went missing when he was 7. The police suspect he was kidnapped then murdered, the body never found though. Joey has always been curious of what happened to his dad, even though everyone has told him what happened to his father was normal. One night something changes when him and his boyfriend, Daniel, have a look around Joey's house.

Kiyla went to teen choice awards to meet Joey Graceffa and while backstage with Joey, Daniel, and Tyler the news was on and showed a house burning to the ground. But it was Kiyla's house. And as they continue to watch they find out that there was no survivors, so Joey and Daniel adopt take her in as her own, but they had no idea what they were getting themselves into.
