Drops of Poetry It's raining outside my window Just like my emotions inside me The taste of the salty rain and sorrow Every problem falls on me like rain I catch it with my hand Turning it to rhymes and names I'm soaking wet from where I stand I don't care if I'm under a storm All I know is those little drops are stories Every day I learn new things from this horror But I can turn them into drops of poetries. This is a compilation of my poems :)

"You're so lame." Alexander comments as he walks into the kitchen. "Shut up, I don't care." I scoff as I continue to make myself a sandwich. "You know, maybe guys will notice you more once you stop wearing your father's clothes." He teases and at that moment, I turn around to face him and give him a fuming glare. "Leave me alone." I hiss through gritted teeth before storming out of the kitchen, leaving behind my sandwich. ✕❤︎✕❤︎✕❤︎ A 16 year old girl named Courtney is not your average teenager. She buys her clothes from the men's section and only has two friends. But not for long. Her mother gets proposed by a wealthy man and she is forced to live with the school's biggest player. I get these thunderstorms at 2 AM and this is what they are. (Monologues, poems, letter entries, etc)

Sometimes it's hard to express yourself, hiding underneath all the speakers and the sound enhancers that make everything seem so superficial and perfect. There are times where we need to unplug ourselves from all of the autotune and amplifiers, and just settle down for a raw, acoustic, and unplugged speech and performance. We all need to shed that outer image and let everyone know who we are. And it's in those moments, when I'm at my most vulnerable point, where everyone can see my flaws and scars, where I truly feel unplugged.

To those who read these poems, thank you. I'm a bit strange when it comes to a writing style and will constantly experiment with my work. Please enjoy~
