Helena Dethridge, a 15 year old girl, was accused of murdering her family with an axe a year ago. She gets sent to the worst institution there is in all of the U.S, Saint Mary's Asylum. She meets a boy named Mason and they attempt to make an escape when suddenly they get caught. The two are sent to get electric shock therapy when something goes horribly wrong.

A story about a woman's life changing in a split second. The love for loved ones and her future wife are put to a test. Her emotions are put in exposure like never before. She has to do anything in her power to protect the ones she loves. Even if it means eliminating family friends to protect her family.
