But the actions of this Enhanced being as of late have become erratic, extreme. He no longer provides a sense of security, but instead provokes wariness and fear. What can be done? What can the people of this city, normal and Enhanced alike, do against one of the most powerful individuals to have ever lived when he can't be challenged or even reasoned with? It's all about to fall apart. --- Taking influence from more natural superhero tales from the likes of Kurt Busiek and Neil Gaiman, Quarter City is a different take on a familiar genre.

jayla thought she was a human, thought she belonged on earth, but she was wrong. she comes from the planet andorra and belongs to the lightening clan. she can't remeber her life before she was tewelve and as the story of her life and her troubles unfolds, so do the lies. what does she do when she has to fight her brother and sister who killed her clan? what does she do when those clsoe to her aren't real, and who is chayden? friend, enemy?

Summary: Left a damaged husk, a pale shadow of all it once was by the last war, Earth, the cradle of our civilization is now populated by only a few million, living among the ruins of our former glories. As support and aid pours in from the colonies, our planet is slowly being put together under the guidance of the AI and the team of researchers entrusted with the care of the fusion generators that now satisfy all our power demands. Yet, Earth was not the only casualty of the wars. An ancient device, floating in the outer reaches of our solar system now lies damaged. And an ancient terror is unleashed. Well, this is just the beginning, i hope it turns out okay. Also, if i still have the ideas in my head, i'll expand this into a series.
