Boring town. Boring food. Boring people. In all of his life in the same town, Brendan has yet to come across anything remotely interesting; but how could he tell the difference? In the midst of a micro-managing boyfriend and a nearly comatose mother weighed down by loss, he meets a girl. A girl with red hair and wild ideas, one of which being that Brendan is a key part of her plan to get her sister back from a kidnapper. Like the thrill-desperate idiot he is, Brendan embarks on this mission with the girl... but he'll soon find out everything is not as it seems, and he's gotten himself into something that will change him forever.
