Persephone has already been kidnapped by Hades, her unwanted and unexpected suitor. Demeter has already cast a famine on all the humans in her grief. Hades struggles to win Persephone over...but perhaps Persephone has always been meant to be with him, and she wasn't an innocent as she was thought she was... Moderate explicit parts. *not finished* "Look, Persephone, you're a reasonable Goddess, more reasonable than most. You have to understand I was not born the Lord of the Underworld. The title was appointed to me because I was the unlucky one. My job is just as important as my brother's jobs. I wasn't selected because of my cruel ways but now because of the way people speak of me and fear me now I am the cruel one whether or not I like it. Do you honesty think it is fair that it should work that way? People take one look at me and assume I'm the devil." Persephone crouches back in her seat. I realize I am standing and seat myself, trying to calm myself. "Do you honestly think that being in charge of the dead and judging them makes me undeserving of love, of a wife? I'm doomed to be exiled down here. I don't even have the sun to keep me warm, Persephone. You're all the sun I have..." *This story is also not meant to be factually accurate, and is simply an interpretation of the story.

That may not have been the worst thing, unless you’re the illegitimate child of the Greek God Hephaestus, the worst looking God on Olympus. Alexis Panagakos was used to being alone. She rarely stepped out of her little apartment in New York City, afraid of what the world would think of her. But when she accidently bumps into one of Eros’ descendants, Lander, and his friend and last assignment, Evangelina, one of Aphrodite’s many daughters, Alex’ world seems to be turn upside down. Follow Alex' journey to discover that beauty doesn't have to come from a stunning face, and true love can be found, even in the darkest hour.

a/n: I will begin to edit 'Zeus' at some point, but updates will be slow as I am a student in my final year of university. I hope you'll enjoy the rework. [Book One] What would you do if your life was turned upside down? If everything you believed in was wiped completely, only to be replaced with a world that you'd never have thought was real? That's what happened to Anya. Saved by a man who is named after the God of Strength, Anya is thrust into a world of fur and claws, and is made to live with a bunch of people who seemed to take pleasure from naming their offspring after Greek gods. Yet it is not the brother who saved her who Anya falls for. One man, with a temper that could take on a fight with thunder and lightning, he's the man whose soul belongs to her, the man whose story is told in the prophets of his pack, the only one who can destroy the demons of her past. His name is Zeus.

Humour/Romance/Drama: Hades is in trouble. As if dealing with deceased amnesiac teenagers, nosy fallen angels, and vengeful spirits from beyond the grave wasn't enough, the grouchy god soon finds his heart torn in two when a friendship blossoms between him and the dying human girl whose soul he has come to collect. With the clock ticking and fate itself conspiring against him, Hades realises that he likes this girl. He REALLY likes her. And he's got to make the most painful decision of his immortal life. The first novel of this fantasy trilogy puts a fun, fresh and anime-tastic spin on an ancient tale.

"Why you don't wear bride gown?" Hades asked, and looked at her. "I don't want to marry." She resisted. "Ok. That's good." He said and moved up to her. "We should go bed room now. Don't waste time." "No. No!" She moved back from him. Persephone was frightened. Hades was tall and big. When he was close, she felt herself smaller. Her head was as tall as his shoulder. When they got closer, she was terrified. "I give you one more chance." Hades looked at her. "Will you marry me?" "Ummm I...." Persephone was speechless. "If not...." He moved up to her and held her to his arm. "Let's go bedroom." "I do. I will marry you" Persephone replied. She was afraid that he would do something more.
