Based on the season 6 episodes Ambush and All In wherein Calleigh gets abducted. After she returns, of course, Eric is there for her like he always is, but, they have some things to discuss... and perhaps something might finally happen with this couple who apparently haven't realized that they're almost in a TV Show's romance arc...

So, this should probably be called Ghosts of Future Eras, but I wanted to allude to A Christmas Carol with its "Ghost of Christmas Past" thing... Essentially, this is playing with the moment Calleigh and Eric meet in 1997 (as seen in season 8's Out Of Time) I wanted her to see different versions of herself from the series... each teaches her something about her future "history" with the man she eventually dates (season 7). There is the one I call Horny Calleigh. She is the one from Wet Foot Dry Foot (Season 1) which is the episode where Eric asks if he can crash at her place after there's a case stirring up his neighborhood. She told him, "On the couch, no midnight tiptoe, deal?" but this version of her is annoyed that now he's on her couch and she can't do anything about it without breaking her own rule... There's Sad Calleigh who is dealing with the events of the season 5 episodes, No Man's Land and Man Down where Eric gets shot in the head and almost dies. We know that later in season 5, she begins to help him, and flirt... Then we have The Sick One AKA: Hospital Gown Calleigh from the episode Smoke Gets in Your CSI's (season 7) who finally hears the words she needs to hear from her best friend and love interest, Eric. Next, The Regretful One. (Season 8: In the Wind) The one that is trying to pretend that she's not still in a relationship with Eric after some unfortunate incidents happen that try to tear them apart. Maybe it's guilt? But the passion is still there, so what's the deal? I also have an Eric version which I will post here. I also have to mention that this story inspired another which I think I'm almost finished with.

A hiphuggers romance which is pre-season 1 and is based roughly on season 8's flashback episode which goes over how the team was formed. Initially, Eric hits on Calleigh (which is canon), she tells him not to bother with her because she would never even SOCIALIZE with anyone remotely related to her job (which is canon), but I am fudging that a little in this story. She actually gives him her number, but at the date, she realizes that Horatio asked Eric to go through the police academy and join the team, so she decides (again) that they can't date... but sometimes, things happen... It might be, as Olivia Rodrigo sings, "a bad idea, right?" but, is it though? "'I only see him as a friend', biggest lie I ever said."- Olivia Rodrigo (Bad Idea, Right?)

Srk and Kajol are best on screen couple.Those who have seen them must have wished once in their lifetime to see them as real couple, not in reel life but real life. This is a fan fiction in which I have tried to fulfill this dream. Yes, I have shown a love angle between these two best friends. I hope you enjoy...
