Despite that, the parents are in a huge dilemna about appointing one of them the heir. Traditions state that the heir has to be a male but the two felt like Kryss would do an equally good job. While the coming of age to be appointed the heir was from the ages of 18 to 20, Alexander was crowned when he was 16 because King Robert was starting to get tired easily, therefore deciding to appoint his heir earlier.
