Description: I began writing this story in November 2014 based on a prompt submitted to the 5hfanfiction Tumblr page which essentially requested for somebody to write about Camila and Lauren being set up on a blind date then planning revenge on their friends by pretending it worked. It is an Alternate Universe (AU) story where Camila works as the assistant to an A&R rep at the fictional Hype-R records and Lauren is an aspiring author who works at a bookstore. Summary: Lauren Jauregui is an immigration lawyer for the state of New York. Camila Cabello is a Mexican/Cuban born "immigrant" trying to avoid deportation. Though a portion of her nationality is Cuban, she was born in Mexico and therefore is ineligible to receive permanent residence under the Cuban Adjustment Act. She researches and finds that she can get an adjustment of status if she marries a U.S. citizen, simultaneously ridding the possibility of deportation. It isn't set in stone but Camila is willing to give it a try.

Camila Cabello: rich, popular, and a daddy's girl, well in front of her parents she is. To everyone else she's the hot leabian that flirts with every girl, especially with the captain of the girls basketball team.
