~~ Marichat Fanfiction ~~ After the Evillistrator incident, Chat Noir has been making frequent visits to Marinette's balcony, sliding letters through the trap door into her room. The letters mostly ask for her forgiveness, advice and ordering her to protect herself from the dangers of akumas. Marinette is conflicted with her love for Adrien Agreste (who is, in actual fact, Chat's true identity). But nevertheless, she decides to reply to Chat Noir's letters, which leads to the two growing closer than ever before.

Chat Noir's identity has been revealed in the worst possible way imaginable - In front of a nation-wide broadcast crew while facing an Akuma. His life is shaken dramatically, nothing can be the same again, and there is only one source of stability for both Adrien Agreste and Chat Noir now. Meanwhile, Marinette has to come to terms that the person she's admired and her occasionally irritating but trustworthy partner, are one in the same, all while reeling from visits from a certain cat she's grown particularly fond of. Primarily MariChat and Adrienette (It's all the same ship anyway, lets be honest here). First Marichat/Adrienette fanfic, so let me know any criticisms that you may have. She makes a few friends and fiends, but nothing can prepare her for what's coming next. When Adrien first lays eyes on Marinette, the first thing that rushes through his head is 'beautiful'. He wants her, yet she doesn't want him. Not at first, anyways.

It has been a year since Ladybug and Chat Noir became a crime fighting duo. They have yet to discover the identities of one another, until one harmless gift changes everything.
