At 26 years old, Miller is an alcoholic who is suffering from depression. In and out of hospitals and emergency rooms, his addiction is quickly taking a toll on his life. He meets Grace who is a 19 year old college student who is enrolled in an internship for medical school. She tries to help him out and which they end up falling in love. Until something goes terribly wrong.
