*OLD STORY* Elaine Woods, that's the name. For a girl who lives by the motto "Modest is Hottest", It's so hard to be Christian - Especially in senior year of high school - What happens when she and her friend, Preston, accept the offer to do a little experiment for their youth Pastor? Basically, they're given the opportunity to go from outcasts to popular. Then, when people start to listen to them, they attack. Lies, drama, love, heartbreak, ex-boyfriends, and a pretty sweet make over all wrapped up in one challenge.

Niecie, Liddy, Marcy, and Sadie all lived in the the highly sheltered and conservative Christian town of Pius, Colorado. Unfortunately for these girls they have had to bend to the iron fists of authority. In this town change was not excepted. As they grow older they have to face the judgment and expectations of the adults around them. When Liddy gets a book that she simply records her thoughts in, the other soon followed. Niecie travels to Denver for an addition, when she returns she brings the "Out side world" with her. The girls soon see that what they think is good might just be wrong to others. As they face the hardships of love, family, and religion they find that life changes you and never stops testing you. As they grow both mentally and spiritually, they find that laws of Pius need to be broken in order to get the reform they need. Four Journals, Four girls, one town, many sins. Yet they are willing to save the town that refuses to bend. *ATTENTION* This is not meant to offend anyone. It is simply the story of a prejudice town that revolves around GOD. It is a story of struggles between the old generation and the new. If you are not christian please keep in mind that I respect your religious views. However these are mine, so please give me that same respect. Also I am not trying to send the message that all Christians are biggets such as these FICTIONAL characters. I am simply trying to show that old ways can be harmful even when they are not meant to harm. I am trying to teach a lesson of acceptance, love, friendship, family, and tolerances. That is all.
