❝Contrary to the popular belief, there's a very thin & fragile line between saying too much, and saying too little. More often than not, you'll find yourself unable to balance on that line & tipping to one side or the other, before inevitable falling. Whether or not there will be something there to catch you, that depends on how much was left unspoken.❞ There are things in life that we swear we'll never do. Some people pledge never to lie, others promise never to tell a secret; but of course, with a little time & persuasion, doing the action they vowed never to do is inevitable. Nearly everyone has made promises with a genuine sincerity in their hearts, only to later go & smash their promise to fragments with a sledgehammer- it's just what people do. No matter how hard they try & resist, if the thought remains bubbling in their mind for long enough, it's bound to boil over eventually Rachel Hale wanted to stay true to her promise. She swore she'd never go back to Beacon Hills after a fire killed nearly all of her family, yet when one of her two surviving siblings was brutally murdered within the confines of the town, she couldn't help herself; not after the arsonist who burned her life to the ground walked free. Alongside her older brother, Rachel went back to the damned town, & almost instantly fell head over heels into chaos- and took a whole lot of people with her. Before she even knew what hit her, she was fighting not only for her own life, but for the innocent people who didn't belong in a supernatural world like hers; innocent people she began to care more about than she was willing to admit. Unfortunately, for someone like Rachel who knows just how quickly everything she loves can be destroyed in a town like Beacon Hills, caring may turn out to be her biggest mistake. ❝Monsters can come in the most innocent faces❞ Solace Wendin had one goal, and that goal was to get through high school. The ever so 4 years that has said to prepare you for what life is going to throw at you, but as expected in the thought to be quiet town of Beacon Hills it won't go as planned. Solace Wendin had no association to the supernatural or the people who fight them off as their daily routine, she was just a fifteen year old girl who had an innocent heart. An innocent heart that Beacon Hill was set on to demolish; just because of a name, her name. When the name of Solace Wendin appeared in the dead pool everyone certainly though that it was a mistake because Solace Wendin is human. She's a human who now had to be scared of the people around her, the people who could just kill her for the selfishness of money, of greed. The teenage girl had no explanation towards why her name appeared in the kill list, in contrary to Liam Dunbar. A transfer student that soon became Scott McCall's first bitten beta; a werewolf with anger issues that made Solace Wendin sure that the only reason he came to her life was to set it up with disruptions and cause her mental angst. There was definitely tension between the two teenagers but they soon find themselves confining to each other as the supernatural world catches up to them. However there is still a question in everyone's mind, what makes the human that goes by the name of Solace Wendin so special that she's the top target in the dead pool, what makes her so special that she's worth the same amount as the true Alpha? Solace Wendin 25 {season 4}.

High school. It's difficult enough to navigate on its own. Especially when you were quick-witted, bitterly sarcastic, and emotionally constipated with a bad case of verbal diarrhea. And yes she was aware of the inherent contradiction contained within that phrase. When Charlie Oswin moved to Beacon Hills to live with her aunt after the death of her father, she thought the worst she'd have to deal with was gossip, term papers, and her new best friend and across-the-street neighbor Lydia Martin lipsticking her to death in the never-ending quest to make Charlie socially acceptable. Actually Lydia had described it more as avoiding becoming a 'facepalm-inducing embarrassment'. But for a tiny town that was 90% forest with only one functional movie theater, there sure seemed to be a lot of people dying. There was something going on in Beacon Hills--something off. Enter one Stiles Stilinski. He was a twitchy, sarcastic weirdo, and she definitely appreciated that in a person. He and his friend Scott McCall also happened to be at the center of every strange thing that was going on in this weird-ass town. It was one giant mystery. And she was going to figure out what it was. She just never expected to stop being scary and defensive long enough to start developing actual human feelings along the way. Eventual Stiles/OC Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Wolf. Shocking, right? But I don't. All I own is Charlie Oswin and my other OCs. There will also be a bunch of other fandom references in the story from shows like Supernatural, Parks & Rec, Misfits (the bear vs shark debate!), and Joss Whedon stuff because I love my fandoms dearly! The cover was made for me by the lovely and amazing missjanuarylily of tumblr!!!!
