Jeremy messaged me one day quite unexpectedly, having read up to a certain part in my Memoir. What follows is the journey he and I took, in the behind the scenes world of Wattpad - where people connect and messages are exchanged and friendships are formed. Jeremy reached out a hand and I extended mine and together we travelled through many ups and downs and essentially, created his own Memoir in the process... He has asked me to make these conversations public so that readers can understand him and perhaps find within his words and his personal ongoing struggles, a path to understanding for themselves... He hopes too, that by releasing the 'monster' inside him, the blackness will lift, allowing the light of hope and desire for life to shine through. This is my hope also. It has been a journey of learning for myself as well, as I have tried to discover ways to help him, often shedding tears, feeling the frustration of helplessness and the fear of losing him, of his letting go my hand... These 'letters' are unedited, and broken into parts as they were exchanged. Jeremy's words are in bold and my words are in italics, for the purpose of distinguishing between our conversations.

I began writing down odd pieces of self, brief moments, reflections... Then I wondered what could be achieved if others collaborated and added their odd pieces of selves... Could we collectively create an ongoing communal self, shared, exchanged, accepted, acknowledged, respected, evolved, ... Is it possible? Much love to my Oreo for the cover....

These are my thoughts on some philosophical issues that are pertinent to Science Fiction in particular and many other genres as well. This is not a rant. There are some really fine rant authors out there on Wattpad. The ones I like are: @mrcharizard15. His 'The Book of Random Stuff' and 'A Teenager's Rants' are especially interesting and very current. Another excellent writer in this genre is awesomesauce82. His 'Rants 'n stuff is worth checking out, as are many of his stories: Game Over, Smile for me, and 'Herobrine: Takeover' to name a few are really good reads of his.

Based on a true story. By all accounts, Jorge Salas was a good man. He was a well known and well respected businessman, doting husband, and loving father. Many of the older officers in the department knew him well. Unfortunately, when I first met him he was lying dead in the office of his own business with 3 bullets in him. Follow me while I chase rumors of cartel assassins, disgruntled employees, missing money, bloated insurance claims, and a cheating wife. The truth will shock you.

This is a series of stories based on observations I have made while drinking coffee at Starbucks. Years of training as an investigator gives me little choice but to accidentally look into the lives of people I see. I don't do this so I can have something to write about. I do this because this is what I do. It just comes natural now. You would be surprised at the stories that are sitting right in front of you if you just knew what to look for. Cover by @Setalmage
