Darkness was all that ever surrounded me. A sheer blanket of night as thick and suffocating as miasma that enveloped my presence and soul. This wall of black shielded me from the light of others. Their all too bright smiles and their naivety to the darkness of the world. Echoes of their laughter would give me migraines and their constant chatter encouraged me to venture even deeper into the abyss of the dark. All who ever came within my gaze ran away in fear and with just a peek into my eyes they would be completely petrified. My appearance only increased their fear. My black hair was long and covered my eyes and most probably half my face. My skin was pale and almost as white as snow. I think my appearance is perfectly normal but to others I looked like a living corpse lurking in the corridor. Of course, because of the stupid rules and regulations of the academy, I had to wear the bright disgusting yellow excuse of a uniform on a daily basis. Walking in the corridors I would always hide in the shadows avoiding all the people who walked by. For everyone else's safety and my own. If they came close to me, they would drown in my dark dense aura. No one has ever survived living in my presence. That is, until one person challenged this fact.
