It was said that Dark guilds from different parts of Earthland has targeted Fiore for their next attack. Since Fiore is well-known for all the best and powerful mages, they decided to target the guilds to take the people on their list as recruits for their guild. People from Fiore are scared and they pleaded the kingdom to ensure their safety. Meetings were held and the Council has decided that all Masters from different guild will have to attend. As Makarov returned, he break the news to Fairy Tail that every guild should give representatives to help battle out the Dark guilds and save all the wizards in Fiore. Will their plan work? How will these previous opponents from the Grand Magic Games join hands as allies to rescue their homeland? What will happen if the selected wizards to stop the Dark Guilds were also the ones they are after? Will they act as one and help each other out, or will they drag each other down instead for revenge?

After the incident with the Infinity Clock, things seem to be peaceful again in the guild of Fairy Tail. But that soon takes an abrupt turn when Lucy falls ill; resulting from the leader of a dark guild called Black Essence. His name is Mastel, and he plans to take Lucy's soul in order to increase his own power! Natsu and the rest of Fairy Tail desperatly try to stop him, and once they do, is it all really over? Or is someone else lurking in the darkest shadows? And what happens when not only Lucy is targeted again, but someone else is added to the mix?! Who is the other person?! Virel Essence, a mysterious man, plans to do the unthinkable and possibly put the world in danger! To make it worse, Lucy starts mysteriously loosing her memories; add the fact that there's a mysterious legendary key wrapped up in Lucy's past, and you get a very dangerous situation! When a great danger threatens Fiore, certain mages from Fairy Tail are called to go investigate. Unfortunately, Lucy Heartifilia is not one of them. This greatly angers her, and she feels weak and useless. She takes leave from Fairy Tail to become stronger. She wants to show the world she's not weak. ❝I'll be stronger when I return, I promise.❞ Lucy trains hard, and indeed gets stronger, but she doesn't stop there. When a mysterious man offers her more magic power, she gladly accepts it. ❝Stop it, Lucy! This magic... this power... it's taking over you!❞ Upon returning to Fairy Tail, everyone is overjoyed to see Lucy. This feeling slowly dissolves when they notice she is different. Natsu hit the wall, crumpling to the ground, a soft groan escaping his lips. "Natsu!" A blonde mage yelled, her voice shaking with fear. Her body was covered in cuts and bruises, an especially noticeable gash on her cheek. Her wrists were in shackles, chained to a wall. Her hands were cold and numb, the shackles were on so tight, the blood hadn't been flowing properly to her hands. "Stop it, Obsidian! If you summon him, the ancient war will start again! The endless bloodshed," Lucy stopped, tears racking through her body, "How can you do this?" "It's for the better!" The man-Obsidian- snapped, making Lucy flinch, "Your sacrifice will be the bring a new world, free of impurity! You should be honored!" "P-please, s-stop it before i-it's too late!" Lucy stammered, the horrifying nightmares playing through her head again. "The moon has risen, time to begin!" Obsidian cackled, eyeing the blood-red moon. It only appeared once every hundred years. "We'll bring you back in your true form, Zeref!" Obsidian yelled to the sky. {Infinite_Warrior}
