La plupart des Humains pensent qu'un monde peuplé d'êtres identiques n'aurait aucun attrait. D'autres, par le passé, sont allés jusqu'à commettre un nombre incalculable d'horreurs pour l'uniformiser. Du côté divin, l'opinion est un peu plus clivée. Si les Lumineux chérissent leurs ailes blanches, leurs yeux blancs, leurs vêtements clairs et teintes de cheveux concordant aux normes terrestres, les Obscurs prônent taches de sang tenaces et excentricité vestimentaire. Au vue des rumeurs qui circulent sur le style épuré du Prince Obscur, un brin provocateur de la Princesse Obscure et totalement effrayant du Roi Obscur, il n'aurait pu en être autrement. Et puis, entre nous, le peuple du Mal ne raterait jamais une occasion pour s'opposer à leurs ennemis naturels. Par contre, le jour où un nourrisson a eu le malheur d'ouvrir des yeux bleus, d'agiter deux cheveux cyan sur le sommet de son crâne luisant et de déployer de petites ailes mauves, autant dire que le peuple Lumineux a vite déchanté. D'autant plus qu'en grandissant, il s'avère que cette déesse parfois irritable, colérique et un chouïa rancunière, a choisi de défendre la Terre en tant que Gardienne de l'Humanité. Un titre lourd, qui lui a coûté très cher. La vie, pour être exacte. Puisqu'on m'a condamnée, moi, Déesse de l'Amour, à échouer en Terre Obscure. En Terre ennemie. Et pour le coup, bien que les Obscurs et moi partagions un point commun : l'atypisme, les taches de sang ne sont pas tellement ma tasse de thé... *** Pour info : histoire écrite il y a bien longtemps, mon style d'écriture a évolué ! ;)
