Angela, a Californian teen, goes from pretty and popular to loser and loner almost overnight. All it took was a single move halfway across the country. Something's been up for the past couple of days, and it started with the brothers of Before You Exit when they arrived in Michigan. Riley's turned into the Hulk without the transformation into a large green monster, Connor's reading minds, and Toby's spitting out more fireballs than Mario with a fire mushroom. That definitely is not normal. The band members were not the only ones in the Detroit area to be affected. Melinda Lee was just another concert attendee when her skin began to turn dark grey. Katy Rose was just one of the bodyguards when she mended wounds with just a touch of her fingers. Luna Miller was being taunted by her school bullies at the concert when their feet suddenly froze to the ground. In meeting, the three girls thought they were the only three people like them. And then Toby set the venue on fire. But it can't just be their group, right? There's others out there, and there's always those who let the power corrupt them. Battling between secrecy from the fans, a dash of romance, and enemies on the rise, it soon becomes impossible to keep their abilities on the down-low. Eventually they'll have to let the cat out of the bag - their world is at stake. But that doesn't mean they can't have a little fun with it.
