The life before 564 became Amelia Reyes is a gruesome one; a story that she could not and would not tell to many people. She had been labeled at a young age by three small numbers tattooed on her wrist. She had been taught to fight for her life and show no mercy. She had been used as an example to others and her bravery gained only hatred from her owners. But it only caused an admiration to be built in the hearts of her friends in the orphanage. The falls she took for all of them only raised her into a hero. She was a legend, a savior, and was respected greatly among the children who resided there. Until the day she was forced to abandon them- the day her heart broke and the day she no longer considered herself a hero. 564; Amelia Reyes; the girl with the numbers on her wrist and the scars on her back. ______________________________________________________________________ © 2015-2016 Katherine Hinchley (Wattpad user -MidnightStories-) All Right Reserved. [Highest rank #2 in Action 19/09/17] [Highest rank #20 in Adventure 09/02/18] This book is currently on hold but you are more than welcome to read what is up already. Unedited/ First Draft ----------------------------------- My name is Lillian Kelly and I'm seventeen. I'm that girl that nobody ever notices, who just goes through the school year as a shadow lurking in the background. I'm classified as the school's nerd with my black thick rimmed glasses, my high grades and my style of clothes that consists of T-shirts, jeans, an oversized hoodie and my beat up converse. I get bullied but the thing is I can stop it but at the same time I can't otherwise I might blow my cover. The cover I have held for a year already but you know things don't always go to plan like how was I supposed to know that the three most popular boys in school would want to hang out with a 'nerd' like me but I guess miracles happen, I just wish that this particular miracle would have happened to someone other than me. My job was simple. 1. Blend into the background. 2. Don't draw attention to yourself 3. Don't reveal you true identity. 4. Don't die during the process. While I have already failed one and two and I have come close to four. Let's just hope that I don't break number three otherwise all hell will break loose. People will die and I will be the reason why and I refuse to let that happen not now or ever.

She rose her dainty eyebrows in surprise at my answer, her small lips slightly opening in shock. "I never took you for one who fails an assignment, Void." She pursed her tongue. My blank eyes stared at hers as I bit back my answer. She sighed at my silence. "You do know what we do to those who fails an assignment, right?" My mind went to the tortured screams I heard from the basement. Beckett must have seen the tiniest widening of my eyes because she smiled knowingly at me. "I may look strict... but since this is your first, I'll overlook it for now. But, may I remind you, that if you fail one more mission, you'll receive worst than those people. " Her eyes hardened at my blank stare. "Are we clear?" "Crystal." *** Meet the killer. Though she has a real name, she is more known as 'Void' because of her blank face and especially eyes. But her blank face has a story behind them-- A past that has left her broken and alone. This past made her perfect for killing innocent people with no remorse. Watch out. She may already be behind you.

Best rank: #1 in Action! Included in Action's Featured List! Amelia Reyes has been raised within an orphanage her entire life, but she just recently broke free of their grasp. The men who raised her taught her the skills of a street fighter. They taught her to take pain. They taught her how to survive. They taught her to give no mercy. They showed her pain. They gave her the 564 that is engraved on her wrist. But that 564 is a reminder. A reminder of love, of mercy, of hope. They took her innocence and her freedom, but they did not take the fire in her heart. ______________________________________________________________________ Thanks to @captainmarvel165 for designing this beautiful cover, and thanks to @LeagueofGraphics who featured it in their book and for everything they helped with for this wonderful piece of art! © 2015-2016 Katherine Hinchley (Wattpad user -MidnightStories-) All Right Reserved.
