This started out as a one-shot but I liked it, so - here you are, a story. Peridot is an angel; Lapis is a troubled young woman; Peridot is assigned to help Lapis. Be careful since there are some hard topics i.e. cutting and PTSD and depression. I think it's pretty good though. (Eventual romance)

Peridot Diamond: A short, pale blonde scientist who is socially awkward. All she cares about is science, facts, and logics. She's never really had a friend and she's never felt attracted to anyone, until she meets Lapis Lazuli. Lapis Lazuli: A tall, tan bluenette life guard who's all over the place. She's carefree, wild, and she's pretty odd. No one knows it, but she struggles with depression. ---- Peridot Diamond is a dorky scientist from Beach City High. Her life revolves around school, and of course science. She's fine being alone, and she has never felt attached to anyone. This all changes when she meets Lapis Lazuli. At first the two hate eachother, they want nothing to do with one another. They absolutely loathe eachother. But that slowly starts to change as Peridot and Lapis begin learn more about one another. Peridot isn't really a narcissist, and Lapis isn't really as strange as she seems. Peridot soon finds herself developing feelings for Lapis, feelings she's never felt before. Confused and afraid, Peridot is trying her best to figure this out. Yet she can't help but wonder... Does Lapis feel the same? Human (Lapidot HighSchool) Peridot is a normal 18 year old boy that lived in a all expense paid mansion that his dad gave him when Peridot was 14. Peridot never wanted any fights so he would stop them and try to reason with the two people or groups and make an agreement. He is 5'4" Lapis had a miserable life and parents that never cared for her. Her parents left her knowing that they hated her. She has medical depression and is 14. Lapis gets inspired from her friend Peridot by being a good person if you try. She's 5'0" Amethyst grew into a messed up bully. She hurts nerds when teachers aren't looking and never wants to be in a relationship again. She's 15 and 5'5" Ruby is signing up for Elite football training in the schools team, The Crystals, he never wanted football but he'll do it for his love. He's 5'1" and 15

Peridot has maintained her straight A reputation ever since she began going to school. As a high schooler, there are many things that can distract you; drugs, alcohol, friends, etc. All of these things were were easily avoidable for Peridot, except one. Could one slip up completely ruin her stature? (This is an AU where everyone is a human)
