Buddie fic. Established relationship. Tragedy strikes the 118, and they are forced to bury one of their own. Eddie struggles to deal with the grief but fate brings him across the path of someone, suffering memory loss, who looks a little too much like Buck. * I do not own any of the characters in this fic, they all belong to the Tv series "911"* *TRIGGER WARNING: STORY INVOLVES SA AND GETS DARK It all happened after Buck filed a lawsuit against the 118 firehouse after Captain Nash wouldn't allow Buck to continue working for the 118 after his accident involving Buck being crushed under a firetruck and had to be put on blood thinners. The team is upset and disappointed in Bucks decision so they all decide to ignore him when he returns to work, especially Eddie who was hurt by the lawsuit. The team goes out to drink after their shift without Buck who also happened to go for a drink to drown his sorrows, when he sees his team celebrating a win without him, it crushes his soul so decides to leave the bar. Outside waiting for him, are two large men who had their eyes on buck for awhile. Will Buck be able to overcome his trauma? Will he open up to his team? What will Eddie do once he finds out the love of his life was hurt?

Eddie Diaz is straight; he's always been straight. One kiss with his best friend doesn't change that. Okay so maybe more than one kiss, maybe more than kissing. But it still doesn't mean anything. Eddie explains away their newfound sexual relationship as just that, sexual. It's purely physical, and if there aren't any feelings, then Eddie can still be straight. That is what he keeps telling himself. If they keep it casual, there isn't a problem. Buck has thought about kissing Eddie a million times over the past few years. He really wanted to be with him. Is he capable of being just casual? -or- Eddie Diaz grapples with internalized homophobia.

It all started when Harry accidentally lost control of his bike and crashed into a expensive car. The loud noise gathering the attention of the 118 that's at Bobby and Athena's for a cookout. Athena rushes over and Bobby checks the damages of the car with worry. It all got worse when the owner is their new neighbor and they haven't even met them yet. Or Warren Lancaster just moved into his friends house while he's away in Australia for a few years. He agreed since his vet clinics are nearby. Buck and Eddie have always had such a special bond that everyone wishes they had in a person. Someone that is just their person inside and out. Everything changes in a blink of an eye, and Buck suddenly feels he has to fight every part of himself to get better, mentally and physically. And Eddie has been there helping Buck pick up the pieces after his accident. During the fight for his life, Buck also realized his true feelings for someone. But during his healing, he also gets a shocking surprise. One that just might give Buck the push he needed in his life to keep pushing forward.
