Lucy Hossack once believed in Christmas with every fibre of her being, but when her father was killed in a car accident on Christmas Eve when she was just six years old, it turned her world upside down. She stopped believing in Christmas, stopped celebrating it. But when she meets a man named Nick, she has to come to terms with her loss and find the spirit of Christmas in her heart in order to help him send it back out into the world.
