My name is Alex. What anyone before us has known of the world is now a part of history. The earth no longer belongs to humans, and humans no longer fight for it. The infiltration came swiftly, and even had it come slow, somehow I know that the outcome would have still been the same. The Zyronian species were unlike anything we had seen before. I was only ten when they had won dominion over our planet—and they quickly showed how ruthless and emotionless they truly were. We were outnumbered, outsmarted, and nowhere near as advanced. The scary part was—they looked just like us, except they…weren’t, and they all had charcoal black hair. Once on earth, they adapted quickly—ate what we ate, slept as we slept…these are the reasons we didn’t see it at first, the infiltration. They made headway through every asset of our lives, and in the end we found out that one thing is most assuredly different—when they fight, it’s most definitely not as we fight. For them, the fight is over. For the rest of us—it has just begun.
