Everything we know of is based off of concept. Our brains process information in a very direct and organised way, we take that information and stuff it into a box of 'real' or 'not real' and it makes life easier to accept, like a tiny capsule pill that is designed to be easy to swallow. It is our subconscious that gives everything we see a label, gives it a little ticket that our brain registers and memorizes on a daily basis. For the average human, that means that life can continue with as mundanely as possible, anything that does not make sense is rationalized and shoved into its little box.
