Yugi is a college student who just graduated from Medical school with the highest scores in class. He is accepted by a five star rated hospital in Domino, where he is assigned apprenticeship to Dr. Yami Sennen, who specializes in Head, neck, chest, and abdominal trauma, all 4 stages. He takes Yugi in and starts to work with him, getting him used to the atmosphere of almost never knowing when your patient could die on you or you could make any mistake at any time. But when one is hurt badly, can the other be left "In Safe Hands"?

Yami had always seen the world as filled with disgusting trash that should be eliminated. So, he takes it upon himself to murder all those who dare commit a crime whatsoever. He lurks in the shadows and kills in the night. But when he kills one specific individual he meets someone who will change his life forever. He doesn't know what it is about this boy, but he's so unique and different to Yami, he feels something for the young man that he hasn't felt for anyone in a long time. ~Sequel to In Safe Hands~ They thought it was over. Yugi and Yami were together and were safe. For good. But it doesn't last. It happened a few months back. First it was the car accident that brought Yami closer to death than many of the patients at the hospital had ever been. He had been struggling to survive even through the treatments he was given, and his young apprentice was always there, holding his hand, although Yami, wasn't entirely aware. But then, he came back. He and Yugi were reunited, and Yugi wasn't going to let him go again. It was too scary to think about. Things go back to normal. They both work 12 hour days, trying to stay as positive about their jobs as possible, when one day, Yugi receives an invitation from a friend of his to take a vacation and to get away from work for a while. So they go. Together, taking along few friends and meeting more. But when their lives are thrown into jeopardy again after another freak accident... Who'll be the one left with open arms?
