Most of you would have not thought of it, but I think it could work.

Everyone is born with a black smudge on the inside of their wrist. Every birthday, the smudge starts to disappear; until finally on their 16th birthday, the smudge completely disappears to reveal the name of their soulmate. Frisk lives a normal high school life, the only difference between them and their school mates? Their not really obsessed about finding out who their soulmate is. Frisk does want to find out who they are, but Frisk isn't rushing to their 16th birthday and is letting time flow as it pleases. A few days before their 16th birthday, the sets of murders by the mass murderer, that's been dubbed the name Flowey, increase. Flowey is a murderer whose been going around killing for a while now, nobody knows anything about this killer. The name Flowey was given to them based on the fact that at each crime scene, the body of the victim is always surrounded by golden flowers. The crimes have been getting closer and closer to Frisks neighborhood, until the day of Frisks birthday, a murder happens right down the street. But what's the chance that they'll be Floweys next victim? (This is a Chara x Frisk x Asriel fanfic. In this AU, monsters live above ground on the surface. Chara and Frisk are agender and go by they/them pronouns in this fanfic. I do not own any of the characters, the characters are from the game Undertale and belong to Toby Fox.
