SHORT STORY - The dark side has taken over the magical world in a military coup, bringing with them a new Dark Order who are tasked with restoring magical purity and removing magical contamination. A twenty-year-old Hermione Granger finds herself locked in a room, without knowing who has held her captive or how to get out. One day, it all changes, and she finds herself regretting wanting to escape back into the world, a world very different from the one she was taken from. Granger must now navigate this new world, one where as a muggleborn she is lucky to even be alive, thanks to the kindness of an unexpected person, Draco Malfoy. CHAPTER UPDATES EVERY FRIDAY.

The world is a web of decisions. What we decide today changes our tomorrow. Each one of us is interconnected in this web. After the decisions of the war, the Ministry of Magic is tasked with the huge job of ensuring that nothing of the same sort will happen again. Unfortunately, the harsh punishments and fueled anger make war in the near future very likely. With no idea what to do, the Minister of Magic turns to the only one who can help him ensure peace. Only to find out that the two people whom the entire muggle and magical universe are dependent on are sworn enemies. Hermione and Draco. However, it was not always like that. But she just shrugged dully, a helpless gesture that said she didn't care, he'd cut her with the truth and she didn't care enough to notice the pain. ''Its either that or die for being me'.' Harry saw Malfoy roll his eyes in exasperation. ''I'm not going to Kedava you dead Potter, calm down.'' He said nothing as Malfoy gathered his thoughts. ''I'm trying to...you see... what's up with Granger?'' Harry felt himself recoil as is pushed. What right did Malfoy, out of everyone, have to talk about Hermione. Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger? Impossible some would say but nothing is impossible. True love always conquers in the end and hopefully it will conquer in this story too. The war is over at long last and with some hard labour, time and a final wave of the wand, Hogwarts is reconstructed to look like its old self. The secret passageways, the pesky house elves and the magnificent food.
