"what're you doing?" "it's a pinkie promise" Aloura laughed lightly, grabbing his bruised hand and prying his pinkie from his locked fists. Her heart almost dropping at the sight of a small tattoo on his forearm. Evil incised into his skin, with two horns resting above the words. She stared at it for a moment, before shaking her thoughts away. "Now what?" he raises and eyebrow as his eyes lock with Aloura's. "You wrap it around mine" Aloura's gaze fell back onto their hands. Elias continued to watch her, and Aloura could feel her hands tremble from the nerves. His gaze almost burnt her, but she refused to meet it. "Just like that" she grins, gesturing to their now locked pinkies. "Now the promise is sealed in." Aloura's voice begins to falter. Elias' eyes fall to Aloura's lips. She licks them, and his eyes darken. Although they'd already kissed, Aloura found her knees beginning to weaken, and the oxygen around them no longer enough for two. Aloura's eyes flicker between Elias' and they stay like that for a moment, both too scared to be the first who pulls away. "That's all?" he whispers after a moment. His eyes now remaining on her lips. Aloura swallows, but nods, not trusting her voice to speak. "You can't break it" she whispers after a moment, feeling an overwhelming urge to warn him about the consequences of breaking a pinkie promise. "Or you'll lose your pinkie." A ghost of a smile tugs at his lips as he nods gently, mentally noting to not break the promise. Because who would risk their pinkie. Elias smirked after a moment before gently pressing his lips onto Aloura's slightly ajar ones. "What was that for?" Aloura whispers as he pulls away. Elias grinned, "My way of sealing a promise" Aloura laughed a little. But Aloura doesn't believe in promises. ♡ ♡ ♡ #1 in sad #pp1 in Elias #2 in Young Adult #7 in love #12 in crime #15 in sadstory #16 in romance #25 in death

[BOOK ONE OF THE VAMPIRE AND THE GHOST SERIES] She's dead, he's undead. An unusual duo make their way through the modern world, and its modern challenges. Annalise Redwood had spent too much time alone, floating in a centuries old house. The very same house she was murdered in 5 years before. She'd watched people leave, come in, investigate and even squat in this house. Yet none of them stayed long. And more importantly none of them saw her. It was hell, and she swore she was cursed. But this all changes, on the 5th anniversary of her death when a seemingly normal young man walks in. And he sees her. Eugene Cubert was old. Too old. He was done with life, had lived, breathed (well not really) and seen too much for one soul to bare. Quite frankly all he wanted to do was find a nice house to live in and spend the rest of the century comfortably locked away from all of the supernatural and natural. He's visiting his 5th house that day, when he hears it. A woman, screaming to be seen. And then he sees her. And nothings quite the same after that. ---------------------------------------------------- #No.2 in paranormal 3/7/2021 #No.1 in ghost 9/7/2021 #No.8 in murder 2/8/2021 Updates weekly! Disclaimer... [Highest rating: #7 in Science Fiction] "Please, sir." He stared at her with glittering eyes, his fingers once again steepled. He appeared to take pity on her a second later and rose from his seat. "My office Ms. Sanders." Feeling jittery and angry, she stood. On unsteady legs Christy followed her boss, ignoring the curious looks she was receiving. She felt nerves and something far more potent swirl in her stomach as she left the conference room behind. The minute they stepped into his office, three things happened. The door slammed, the walls went dark and her back was roughly pushed up against the glass. Christy didn't have a second to protest as a wall of heavy muscles thrust against her and she gasped at the unbound pleasure ricocheting through her body. Mr. Humack buried his head between her neck and shoulder and let loose a growl that had a stab of pleasure accosting her most secret place... He bit her shoulder and she yelped. His deep baritone was smooth with husky passion that made her shiver. "I will have you, Christal." It wasn't a promise. It was a threat. **** Christal Sanders had expected great things from her new job as a Space Pod designer and Current Affairs rep. Unfortunately, after six and a half cycles of working for Mr. Humack, reality was a little too much to stomach, after all her high expectations were reduced to little more than silent treatments and the occasionally frosty glare directed her way. She was convinced this couldn't be all there was to her life so she filed a vacation request, but it was denied. Her boss wouldn't let her leave, and that's when things got weird. She found herself having a string of bad luck, and a not-so-epic faint, that ultimately revealed something that would change her life completely... Of course, not before it tied her to the Jude that had caused it all, Her boss. And now they had no choice but to be joined at the hip while trouble follows them across the universe.

I've waited so long for you, soulmate,' He breathed. 'I'm sorry, I'm not your soulmate, dude,' I squinted at him incredulously. However tempting that sounded, there was no way this guy was sane. 'I don't even know you. Is this meant to be a pickup line?' -- This is off the cuff, cliche, mostly unplanned garbage, which should feel faintly familiar given the general level of writing on this site and genre. enjoy, if you can stand the ineptitude of the writing ;)
