Lena Garcia is a dancer, and is really excited to start 8th Grade, her class is perfect, she has all her friends, Riley, Sarah, Nicole, Kaitlyn, and Lisa. But most importantly Shawn Hunter, her quirky crush, is with her. Lena and Shawn were best friends in 7th Grade. Over the summer Shawn begins to think he has feelings for Lena but isn't quite sure if he truly does, he doesn't want to hurt her, so he begins to flirt with her friends. Lena is heartbroken by this, all she wants is for Shawn to notice her again.
