Fubuki Shirou finally accepted that they're not perfect. He now lives like a normal boy and moved to Inazuma Town to play soccer with his friends. But night after night, he will get some nightmares. Nightmares about his younger twin getting stuck and being eaten in a darkened path.

"So. The big bad wolf has been defeated by a bunch of humans. How interesting. Very interesting..." --- Time has passed since Inazuma Japan's rescue mission in the Dark Forest. After an unforgettable quest that challenges the impossible, it is about time to focus on the finals in order to fulfil their dream to become number one in the world. Unfortunately, it's not over yet. Inazuma Japan must once again venture into the Dark Forest to stop an ancient evil from consuming the world. A new prophesy must be fulfilled. An enemy arises from the shadows. A certain curse comes back to haunt them. Regardless, no matter what comes their way as long as they have each other and soccer they will be able to pull through. They should be careful, though. Because some things are not what they seem.

However, they unknowingly got the attention of mysterious dark creatures who now desire their flesh. To make matters worse, they turned one of the members of Inazuma Japan into a dark creature himself! Caught into a world far different from their own, Inazuma Japan finds themselves in an adventure like no other.
