Steven and Connie have spent a lot of time together, three years to be exact. In this time Steven can summon his shield, make the bubble last longer and withstand more pressure, fuse with all of the gems, and even fuse with humans(if they agree). But, one thing he can not do is take Rose's sword out of the scabbard until one day, a monster appears while Steven and Connie are having a sleepover. The only problem is that the monster's weak spot...requires Steven to use the sword.

Steven, a gigantic hearted chubby child as we all know at least. One night when Connies over and is fast asleep goes onto the warp pad malfunctioning taking him to the future now meeting his late teen version-self and begins to have feelings for his childhood best friend, Connie. Earlier in the story Steven is still his childish self, then it begins to happen.
