Harley Sanders is addicted to converse like a smoker addicted to cigarettes. White converse to be exact. Lives in them. Sitting in a small café parking lot on the shore line of her small town she unlaces the white converse she wears and tosses them in the bed of her brothers black truck. Except it isn't her brothers truck. Entering Nathan Wells. He's the owner of that black truck; the one that magically produced a pair of size seven white converse. She left her converse in his car.
