"I understand. You heard the place you loved was in trouble, so you came back, but I don't-I just-why didn't you take me?" Here it was, at last. Catharsis, or something close to it. "I would have hunted them down with you, Philza, the people who did that to your town. I would have given you your vengeance on a silver platter. I would have given you the world." Philza didn't look guilty. He just looked tired. "I didn't hunt them down, though." // Or, that fic where Techno and Phil are old immortals, and Tommy and Wilbur are decidedly... not. Angst ensues. //

"You're fun to play with. I just -what- told you one little secret and made you cry at the dinner table?" He chuckles and leans back in his chair again. "You think you have something over me. But in reality?" He drops his voice down to a whisper, leaning in towards me. "You have nothing. I have all the power." - - - You, a loyal soldier of L'manburg, get kidnapped by Dream after your brother, Eret, betrays your country. "Where do you think you're going princess?" he taunts, mouth pulled back in a smirk. I don't move, every part of my body is frozen, every muscle coiled to snap. He closes in, forcing my back against the rough part of a tree, masked face leaning in inches above my own. "Scared are we?" ---------------- Rosemary is the healer for L'manburg, and has a small role in the war. Unfortunately for her, the sadistic ruler of the world they live in decides that he's going to make her the centre of it.
