Madeline Kennedy is your average science geek that works as a police detective and a part-time engineer at S.T.A.R. Labs. She works with the famous scientist Harrison Wells and can't wait for him to release the final particle accelerator she helped plan and build. But when it explodes, it's not only a disaster for Maddie's pride, but it changes her entire world. Her life was changed enough, but now there are metahumans running rampant through Central City and she has powers of her own to keep secret. But if that wasn't enough, her best friend Barry Allen came out of his nine-month coma completely different from the old forensics nerd she once knew. Friends leaving her, and a new conspiracy rising around the decimated S.T.A.R. Labs, things are looking bleak until she and Barry take on the names Phantom and The Flash and work by night as superheroes and by day at the CCPD. Dealing first with the Reverse Flash and shocking discoveries, then Zoom and doppelgängers, Maddie is sure that her life has changed enough. But what about this newest speedster who calls himself a "god"? {This is a CW's The Flash Fanfic. It goes through seasons 1-3, and when season four is finished, will feature that as well. It is rated mature for language. I hope you enjoy it!}

"Kiss me." He orders, slamming my locker shut. "Is she coming?" I ask, turning my head to look behind me, but he grabs my face and makes me look up at him. "Yes, now kiss me." I do as told, getting on my tippy toes as I lean up to kiss him. He kisses me back slowly, before he pins me against the lockers and deepens the kiss. My eyes widen and I try to push him away. This isn't part of the deal. He pulls away, a full on smirk plastered on his face. "I lied." He confesses, turning around. "She wasn't coming." Then, he walks away.

The advice you will find here follows the Chicago Manual of Style which is widely used by American publishers. There are some variances in style from country to country (and even from American publisher to American publisher.) **It may be easier to search the Table of Contents, as there is no rhyme or reason right now to chapter order.**
