This creates a society where there are no conflicts and no war. The main protagonist, Prescott is a 16 year old boy who has always followed these rules. He soon finds interest in a mysterious girl, Brianne who does not take the narcotics. He gets to know her and finds out that she optionally does not take them because she finds it inhumane. Prescott soon stops taking the vials of narcotics and begins to experience emotions such as sadness and anger. He realizes that this "perfect" society is completely flawed. Brianne and Prescott then go on a mission to eliminate the mind washing of their society.
