"The Taming of the Shrew" depicts the courtship of Petruchio, a gentleman of Verona, and Katherina, the headstrong, obdurate shrew. Initially, Katherina is an unwilling participant in the relationship, but Petruchio tempers her with various psychological torments-the "taming"-until she becomes a compliant and obedient bride. This is the second part of Christian Road. This allegory describes in detail the sure and possible roads that a pilgrim traverses. If you happen to see Christian treading the left or the right extensions, rebuke him for him to return to the main road leading to the Celestial City. At first, it was just an ordinary life as Christian searched for the essence of life behind Philosophy and the Scriptures in this allegory. But then beliefs became so significant that they either make or break the pilgrim in his resolve to unravel the mystery of his boil-like illness and its nexus in his quest to reach the Celestial City. This story is a fiction. Any resemblance to a real-life situation is unintentional. The characters and their names are merely products of the Author's imagination.

The story follows the main character Elizabeth Bennet as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England. Elizabeth is the second of five daughters of a country gentleman living near the fictional town of Meryton in Hertfordshire, near London.
