Have you ever been in love with someone who doesn't love you back? Yes or no, I think anyone can appreciate it's one of the worst experiences in life. Well just be thankful you're not in Jem's position. Jem is in love with Tom her best friend since childhood. Tom has absolutely no idea. Tom is in love with Jennifer. Jennifer is Jem's mortal enemy since childhood. Pretty bad huh? Oh but it get's worse, it get's A LOT worse... How can you announce your love for someone when you're not even concious?
