Things only get worse in his junior year when he excels in home economics class, leading the captain of the baseball team, Alastair, to start taunting him for being gay. Then new student Dean Winchester arrives at Flour Bluff High School, sharing many of Castiel's classes. Castiel has seen his type before -- handsome, athletic, arrogant, and sure to be the most popular kid in school. But Castiel eventually learns that he and Dean have more in common than he thought, and they form an unlikely friendship. The Winchester brothers have just moved in with their aunt Ellen and Uncle Bobby because their father was abusing them. The move has forced them to start at a new school. It sucks until they meet the Novak brothers. Sam: The youngest Winchester. 15 years old. Depressed and Suicidal. Selfharms to get rid of the pain. Dean: The older brother. 18 years of age. Acts tough on the outside, but he's a softy at heart. Really likes punk rock music. He cares a lot about his brother and he doesn't want anything to happen to him. The Novak brothers live with their Mom. Their Dad left them a long time ago. Castiel: a punk rock 18 year old that just wants to get out of the hellhole, also known as school. That is...until he meets Dean Winchester. Gabriel: a bullied 15 year old that just wants a friend. Not that his brother isn't enough, he just wants a real friend.

Dean Winchester, age 26, is sentenced to stay in the Kansas State Criminally Insane Asylum for trying to murder his only brother, Sam. Dean has pyschopathic tendencies, suicidal ways, and the core of it all; schizophrenia. The Winchester man hears many voices, that of his dead father, Crowley; a proclaimed demon, and the one and only, an Angel named Castiel. When he gave into the voice of Crowley, that's when everything fell apart. Crowely made him do terrible things to others, aswell as feed into his raging depression; Crowley gave Dean the one way ticket to hell. But when Dean starts to hear the angelic voice of Castiel more and more, he starts to get feelings for just a small voice in his head, or is the voice real? As Dean starts to feel more and more insane, he starts seeing apparitions of the so called Castiel: Voice in Dean's Head. Will Castiel help the spiraling man? Or is he just another pigment of Dean's insanity? (set in the time frame of the late 60's, early 70's)
