"She's here." My sisters says to me quietly. "Who is here?" I question her. "My friend.. You can't see her because she doesn't want you to. She is a ghost." My sister said as she turned back to the TV. I studied her to figure out what she meant by "ghost". "Mandy, there is no ghost. Stop messing around." I said as I shook my head then the TV shut off and the table flipped. I grabbed Mandy's hand and pulled her close. "What's happening?" I said as a tear formed in my eye.

Luna Ross is an 11 year old girl who all her life was never popular and never had many friends. She has had very few deep relationships with people. If life at school wasn't hard enough, life at home wasn't easy either. For her birthday the one thing she asked for was a doll. But she soon finds out, the doll will become her worst nightmare.
