As we fall into the pit of darkness, trust me, hold me tight, Hold on to the wisp of hope, let me give you light. ------------------------------------- Fear. Fear defined Abeer Irfan's life. Every night, it engulfed her and she drowned into the endless horrors of her past. Every night, she lost a part of her to the evil. Every night, it got worse and worse to the point of no return. You see, she wasn't alive; she was just breathing. On one special night, she opened a door, a door hidden in the maze of her horrors. It was on that special night, that she met him. He wasn't a knight in shining armor. He wasn't a superhero. He was a light. He was the guy with impossible green eyes. *************************************** "You didn't see anything before. The words I am sorry are lodged in my throat, but I don't want to beg him. I am done begging people for mercy. "That's more like it." "You cannot make me feel any worse than I already do," I state what I think all the time.
