Viewed by many in the realm as strikingly handsome but also somewhat intimidating due to his fierce demeanor. Skilled both with the blade and on dragonback. Vaella and Aemond were the closest of friends, after the incident on Driftmark that cost Aemond his eye, Rhaenyra took her family and Daemon and fled to Dragonstone.
