Roger Ellis, an 8th grader from Kimberley, South Africa was bunking class in the bathroom when his entire school and what seemed like the rest of the world had disappeared. While he tries to discover what happened to everyone, he meets some other survivors who are on the same mission to find answers. They hide out in an abandoned mine fighting for their survival and unravelling the mysteries of their attackers.
