That cute senior in art class. Brendon. It seemed like he had such a beautiful mind. He's a smooth talker and flirty. He's funny as hell and has a bright smile that will make a girl melt into a puddle. Kai is a sophomore. She has a passion for art and is shooting for a scholarship. Kai, wanting help and an excuse to talk to her crush, asks Brendon for some help on her technique. He takes an interest in her after spending time together after school. He tells her about his goal to find the 'perfect canvas.' Kai loves how artistic and poetic and smart he is. She wants to help him. "The perfect canvas. That's what I'm looking for. But, that's when she walked in the door. 'You're late, Kai,' the teacher, Mr. Scott stated. She rolled her eyes and I heard her mutter, 'Obviously...' She was a sarcastic one, she would probably put up a fight; and I like that. She is what I am looking for."

After the death of his wife, Simon Fuller moves to a new home, with his two daughters. One day, his daughter introduces a new imaginary friend - Nathaniel. She 'gives' Nathaniel to her father, telling him he can keep the boy "forever". Simon tries to find out who the boy really is, but is unable to. Questioning his daughter, she tells him, again, that it's Nathaniel, but he prefers to be called by his nickname, Mr. Boogie.

But one fateful day, he accidentally falls for a girl named Luna who lives in the past. Thinking of a way to meet her, he tries his very best to get recruited for the next time travel take off to go back to the past. Unfortunately, their mission would only last for a year. That only means one thing. Soleil needs to leave everything he has ever worked hard for, including the girl he fell deeply in love with. Who knew finding love through time could be this complicated?
