Everything has a darkside, right? Maria Merriweather's Father has died, and she is leaving the city for the country. She is going to live in Moonacre, but it all changes when someone kidnaps her, before she reaches Moonacre. This is my own Moonacre story, I don't own the characters, but I did somewhat change their attitudes, and change the story.

Often times when I'm alone, my mind conjures up the image of the pale white moon. It's large, so large that it looks as if it could swallow dear little Moonacre in all of it's entirety. And then I feel the crushing weight of water, swirling around me. My hands frantically try to swipe the pearls off the bodice of my dress as the cold waves push me down further. My lungs cry out for air but I still plummet to the bottom of the dark ocean. When I'm finally forced to gulp down the salty liquid, I'm at peace- serene. And everything fades to black... ------------------------------------ Maria and Robin seem to be in an endless dance; one day they take a step forward, the next they take a step back. With pressure and tension mounting, will they end up together, or will someone end up with a broken heart?

Previously - Legend of the Moonlight Diamonds Based on the movie, The Secret of Moonacre. This is a fanfiction about Robin and Maria... 4 years had passed since Maria Merryweather saved the Valley from darkness and destruction. Now in her 17th year, her dear Uncle Benjamin has now decided to take in suitors requests. He has invited young suitors from near and round to a birthday party held for Maria, including the rugged and handsome Robin DeNoir. Leaving for those 4 years, Robin returns fully trained and skilled in fighting and weapons combat. During her party an old rival arrives threatening the life of the dear princess and her valley. The power of the moon is fading as the land becomes covered in darkness. The Moon is disappearing therefore no light shines through the darkness. Maria must find the legendary moon diamonds in order to help protect the valley and save the moon... ------------------------------ Will be written in Third Person but will be from each POV (Point Of View) Plot may change. After the ending of Maria and Moonacre, Maria sets out to do everything she can to make the valley once again a happy thriving place and to fix up her relationship with Robin. But when a new visitor comes to make war in Moonacre can Maria keep everything together? Or will she let Robin go because of it? I welcome you to the slightly darker and romantic side of The Secret of Moonacre.

Maria was brave enough to save the valley, but will she be brave enough to admit her feelings to Robin de Noir? Will something else happen that makes her question if she should tell him? The third and final story in The Secret of Moonacre Trilogy.] It's been two years since Maria destroyed the dark pearl. The valley has been peaceful and happy since. Everyone has been growing as individuals and as a family. But suddenly a long forgotten enemy rises and Moonacre is thrown into turmoil. War is declared, family is divided and love and trust are tested. The return of this foe has been changing things badly. And Robin just so happens to be one of them. What happens when Maria can't even recognize the man she loves? Who will help her save the valley once more? And just what does this dark individual want with her? On top of it all Maria realizes she has more powers than she knew and they are beginning to wield out of control. How will she learn to control them when she is the only one who possesses them? And someone near to Maria has a closely guarded secret that could change everything. Will they admit it and risk being shunned or cast out? Or will they hide it forever and watch the valley be destroyed? (Better than description I promise. XD)

All seemed well after Maria saved Moonacre Valley. She's been gone for three years to finish her schooling and finally she's returned home. But the very first night she is there, terrible nightmares assault her and something feels off. Darkness has been taking over Moonacre Valley and it is up to Maria and Robin to discover what is threatening them and stop it before everything is lost. And what about Robin? He's certainly been acting strange lately. Why is he seeming so gentle towards her when he so rough and wild for the rest of the world? (Better than description I promise)
